  • The MVBBF schedule will be released in early July. Please understand that the schedule is always a work in progress and is subject to change without notice. Please check our website for updates and communications.

  • MVBBF does not guarantee that every author will attend. Please know that there are unforeseen circumstances that may cause cancellation or delay and result in non-attendance of a participating author.

  • Yes. You need to purchase separate tickets for the Dinner + After-Party at Red Cat Kitchen to attend.

  • No. The MVBBF 12-6 pm ticket does not give you access to private receptions or special events.

  • There is NO parking at the Island Inn Conference Center for MVBBF attendees. It is suggested to take a Rideshare to and from the Island Inn Conference Center.

  • Yes. Shuttle Bus Option:

    Park your car at the Oak Bluffs School, 50 Tradewinds Road, Oak Bluffs. Parking is in the back of the building.

    The Shuttle Bus will depart from Oak Bluffs School every 15 - 20 minutes starting 11 am - 1 pm and drop off at the Island Inn Conference Center.

    Returning to Oak Bluffs School: The Shuttle Bus will depart from the Island Inn Conference Center back to the Oak Bluffs School every 15 - 20 minutes starting 5 pm.

  • Yes. Appetizers are first come, first served.

  • Yes. Please plan to wear comfortable and weather appropriate shoes and clothing for indoor and outdoors.

  • During check-in, please give the name of the person that purchased the ticket and show a copy of the ticket with the barcode. The barcode will be scanned in order to be checked in.

  • Tickets are non-refundable. There are no exceptions.

  • MVBBF advises to purchase tickets ahead of time as tickets have sold out in previous years.

  • No. MVBBF does not allow unused tickets to be applied to future events. 


  • There are no ticket prices for children.

  • MVBBF does not transfer tickets.

  • There will be children book author(s) participating. We do not have programming specifically for children.

  • No. It is not guaranteed that every participating MVBBF author will have a book signing.

  • MVBBF uses scanners. Please have your barcode ready.

  • No. The “Early Bird” deadline was 12/31/25. There are no exceptions.

  • Please contact Eventbrite for ticket receipts.

  • No, MVBBF does not hold hotel rooms at The Island Inn for ticket holders.

  • If lodging off-island visit VRBO or Airbnb for hotels in Falmouth, MA.

  • The 2027 festival date will be announced August or September 2026.

  • No. General Admission tickets are sold out.

  • No. Special discounts are not available for book clubs.

  • No. MVBBF does not offer discount rate ticket partnerships for organizations.
